FAQ's
 1. Do I need any horse experience/knowledge to benefit from Equine Facilitated Learning?

No horse knowledge or experience is required to benefit from Equine Facilitated Learning sessions or workshops, unless you are atttending a workshop specifically for equestrians which will state specific requirements and standards.

2. Is there any riding involved?

No, all activities take place on the ground, there is no ridden work.

3. Who is Equine Facilitated Learning suitable for?

Equine Facilitated Learning is suitable for anyone and everyone. We all carry patterns that no longer serve us, the horses can help everyone become more conscious of their behaviour and thought patterns helping us gain insight and create conditions for change to take place.

Parents, teachers, social workers, carers, community workers, riding instructors, managers and therapists in all fields can benefit from learning more about themselves, their relationship patterns and communication skills that Equine Facilitated Learning can teach.

4. Is Equine Facilitated Learning therapy?

Equine Facilitated Learning is not counselling or pyschotherapy. It is closest to personal or life coaching and is immensley therapuetic and healing in its outcomes. Just being in the presence of these gentle, supportive animals is healing in itself and as a tool in the field of Human Development, Equine Facilitated Learning can be powerful, immediately effective and enjoyable.
