About Angela

Angela is an Epona Approved Equine Facilitated Learning Instructor having completed her year long apprenticeship in Equine Facilitated Learning at the Epona Centre, Arizona in 2007. She is also a 2006 graduate of the Epona Advanced Study Experience (EASE).

Angela is a life-long horse lover, an approved BHS riding instructor and gifted natural horsewoman. She has a unique connection with horses, embodying sensitivity, gentleness and respect. She honours the horse's sensitivity and empowers them to have a say in their interactions with humans; allowing them to fully express their emotions and needs. Angela has found that by doing so, the horse respects and trusts us and a true partnership can be built.

In addition to her equine experience Angela also holds a BA (Hons) degree in Peace Studies and a Postgraduate qualification in Youth and Community work, along with ten years experience working in the public and voluntary sector, advising, supporting and coaching individuals and groups to enable them to live sustainable lives and move from surviving to thriving. Specialising in working with refugees and asylum seekers from war torn regions of the world, Angela has substantial experience of working with vulnerable people many of who were experiencing mental health issues including depression, anxiety, trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Her deeply intuitive and empathic abilities enable her to help others access their true inner-selves through gently guiding them towards their own wisdom and strength.

Her passion for Equine Facilitated Learning is to help people uncover their Authentic Self and realise their true desires in life.
Through EFL she helps others shed their old patterns that limit them and keep them from fulfilling their truest potential.
